Hi, I'll be in Nicaragua arriving Sat 25 August. I enjoy partying and dancing and would like to know if you had a recommendation. I land in Managua but would consider getting to Granada directly, Leon directly or stay in Managua. Where should I go? Any names to recommend? Thanks PS: I am a guy, 29, by myself. Do not mention places that would welcome only couples. PPS: I understand you may think my definition of authentic is strange when I refer to electro.
It is just that it happens to be danced on in most areas in this world. Are there parties during week days usually? Electro Danced in most parts of the world? Expat Irish bars but without hookers? Why dont you just go out with the locals, discoteques are the norm in Nicaragua, hot and crowded, the whole bar gyrating Have you consulted the Moon or LP Nicaragua? Leon will have a more vibrant and fun nightlife compared to Granada, as the University is the hub Hit MySpace, and make some friends prior to going, the show you around and hang out with their friends Get Screwed Motherbartender I have been to Nicaragua, and your drivel reply is a typical shmuck attack of yours Get a life you old goat..
And nice language on the forum I'm not the best one to be commenting on clubs, but since you don't seem to be getting the most useful sort of answers so far, let me say that if you will be spending any time in Managua which is where I was exactly a year ago you may want to check out an area along the Masaya Highway Carretera Masaya , south of the RubenDario rotunda, in the Metro-Center mall area.
There are several clubs and party-type restaurants in this neighborhood, though I'm afraid I can't pinpoint any partiular one to recommend. I suppose that's not very helpful. One dance club that I did visit, and would recommend -- but in a different part of town -- is the Mirador Tiscapa, which on my one visit impressed me as being a relatively relaxed and fun sort of place. And if you think you may be interested in a more traditional or folk-oriented style, check out the Casa de los Mejia Godoy, run by two brothers who are well-known folk singers.
